Summary
I love the combination of cinnamon, apples and Calvados, but when I first conceived this recipe, I worried that the chicken and rice would throw off the flavor range. Thankfully, they didn't, and the result was this unusually tasty dish. If you wish, you can substitute cooked gluten-free pasta for the rice called for in this recipe - just mix the pasta with the oil and cinnamon. However, I think rice makes a prettier presentation.
