Dorothy M. Wagner, 78, of W. Market Street, Marietta, entered into rest on June 16, 2010. She was the loving wife of Banks William Wagner, and they were married for 59 years this past September. Born in Marietta, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Shank Sperla. Dorothy had worked at Appley Flower Shop and Strube's Aircraft, both of Marietta. A member of the Maytown Church of God, she enjoyed painting and crafts.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, William J. Wagner, Lancaster, John P. (Carol) Wagner, Manheim; four grandchildren, Lindsay, Courtney, Katey and Adam; a brother, Lewis (Minnie) Sperla, Mount Joy.
