Harold D. Denlinger, 92, formerly of Esbenshade Road, Paradise Township, entered into rest at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community on Monday, March 15, 2010. He was the husband of Miriam (Neff) Denlinger. They were married for 69 years last October. Harold and his wife farmed for many years. Harold was an active member of Grace Point Church of Paradise, formerly Paradise Mennonite Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher, trustee and custodian. He enjoyed singing and listening to the old- time gospel hymns. He also enjoyed woodworking and reading his Bible.
Born in East Lampeter Township, he was the son of the late Martin and Alice (Diffenbach) Denlinger. Harold is also survived by three children: Carl married to Ruby (Hampton), Stanley married to Nedra (Kauffman) and Rhoda married to Allen Blank; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Arlene Rohrer and Ruth Denlinger and many nieces and nephews.
