Born in Altoona, PA, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Hannah Jane Watson Jodon. She was a homemaker. Iva was an avid reader and enjoyed playing scrabble, needlework, gardening and poetry. Iva, along with her husband Millard, enjoyed sharing their strong Christian faith with others in various ministries. She was a long-time member of the 28th Street Church of the Brethren and had also attended various Plymouth Brethren assemblies.
