James E. "Yumpin" Clawges, Sr., 59, of Columbia, died Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Judi Ruth Clawges with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage this past January 15th.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Martha Wilson and stepson of Edward Wilson of Lancaster. He attended J.P. McCaskey and worked for Lancaster General Hospital for 34 years.
