Jeff was born in Lancaster, PA, a son of Mary Jane Doerr and the late Harry B. Doerr. Jeff attended Lancaster Catholic High School and graduated from Loyola College in Maryland on a basketball scholarship obtaining a BA in Political Science in 1971; he served as a Captain in the United States Army from 1972 to 1985. Jeff earned his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, TX in 1977 where he served as editor of the Law Review. He was senior partner in the law firm Overton, Russell, Doerr and Donovan in Clifton Park, NY until he retired to Georgetown, SC a few years ago.See the full content of this document
