Kathleen Noel Benz, 25, of Washington, D.C., passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010, and entered into the presence of our Lord. She was the victim of an automobile accident in Alaska. Born in London, she was the only daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret A. (Glah) Benz of London. Kathleen was employed by Georgetown University as the Executive Assistant to the Assistant Provost. A member of the Georgetown University Class of 2007, she was active in campus ministry and ESCAPE, the University's Catholic Retreat Program. Kathleen was a 2003 graduate of the American School in London, where she participated in Habitat for Humanity and various other charities. She attended church at Dahlgren Chapel at Georgetown University where she was an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.

She is beloved by her five surviving brothers, Thomas, Jr., of New York City, Christopher of Bali, Patrick of New York City, Michael of London, and Kevin of Washington, D.C., grandparents Dr. Edward J. Benz of Boston, and A. Kathleen Glah of Lancaster, PA, 32 cousins, 17 aunts and uncles, and countless friends from all over the world. Kathleen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. Henry J. Glah and Verna Benz.
