Kathryn E. "Sissy" Embry, age 62, of Conestoga View, Lancaster, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Howard D. and Edna Mae Martin Black. Sissy was a volunteer at Conestoga View before and during her residency there. She enjoyed socializing, playing bingo, and babysitting.
Sissy is survived by her sons: Daniel L. husband of Taylene B. Embry of Lancaster, Patrick E. Embry of Lebanon; her brother, Richard husband of Camille Martin of Staten Island, NY; her sister, Rose Mary wife of John Johnson of York; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren.
