Linda M. (McCombs) Salzman, 65, of Slatington, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in her home. She was the wife of the Rev. Dr. Robert E. Salzman. The couple celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary last August 9. Born in Lancaster, March 1, 1945, Linda was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Mildred T. (Scheuchenzuber) McCombs. She was the Co-Founder and CFO of Northeast Educational Associates, Inc., Bridgeway Home School Academy and Essential Learning Institute. Prior to that, she was a Christian School Teacher, Bible Conference and Retreat Organizer and Presenter. Linda was a member of the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Walnutport. Linda was a dedicated pastor's wife, loving mother of 6 children and grandmother of 19. An accomplished artist and author, Linda enjoyed writing Christian musicals and drama, painting, knitting and creating special mementos for her family.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband; sons, Timothy R. Salzman and Daniel E. Salzman, both of California; daughters, Stacey L. Hughes of South Carolina, Jessica L. Parnell and Amy E.
