Mildred H. Devenney, 94, of Lancaster passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25th at Landis Homes, Lititz, PA surrounded by her family. She was born in Lancaster, PA, the only daughter of the late Amos and Alverta Hitz, on December 15, 1916. Millie married the late Richard C. Devenney in 1947 and they enjoyed more than 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2001.
She will be sadly missed, and lovingly remembered, by her son Robert H. Devenney, and his wife Linda, her daughter Deborah Spinney, and her husband William, her daughter Constance Hills, and her husband Richard, and her son James Devenney and his wife Ruth. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Robert C. Devenney, and his wife Megan, Wade Devenney, Kyle Devenney, Laura Nelson and her husband Kevin, Karen McAnanama and her husband Glenn, John Devenney and Thomas Devenney.
