Summary
Robert W. Ulrich, age 90, of Quarryville went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 9, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elise May Kreider Ulrich, who died January 29, 1994. Robert was born on April 4, 1919 in Fulton Township, a son of the late Ross C. and Lula M. Shoemaker Ulrich. Robert was a dairy farmer for 37 years and a carpenter later in his life. He was a member of Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed making furniture in his shop, gardening, cooking, and taking his great grandchildren for rides on his golf cart.
Surviving him are a son, Robert "Bill" W. husband of Linda Ulrich, of Quarryville, and a daughter, Betty S. Ferree of San Diego, CA; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Bucher; and a brother, Ross C. Ulrich, Jr. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry L.
