Summary
Susan A. Witman, 58, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, formerly of the Lancaster area, died unexpectedly on Nov. 14th at her residence. Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of Robert L. Dommel and the late Marian Lutton Dommel. She was a graduate of Ephrata High School and Kent State University. Susan was employed by the State of PA in Harrisburg as a case worker, and then in 1982 opened Susan Witman Consignment with locations in Lititz, Rohrerstown and Oregon Pike and had been voted "Best in Lancaster" several times. She was a former member of LCBC, Bent Creek, and Media Heights Country Clubs. Susan loved to sing, dance for fun, cook, boating, swimming (she was an award winner in high school) and the beach. She was married to Ronald L. Witman for 21 years. She is survived by her children, Andrew (Elizabeth) Witman, Tyler J. Witman, Mitchell J. Witman, Alexandra L. Witman; 6 grandchildren, Madison T. Eller, Taytm L. Witman, Kylie A. Witman, Drew P. Witman, Emma N. Witman, Maddix J. Witman; 2 brothers, Tom and Bill Dommel.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Susan's Life Celebration Memorial Service from Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 11 N. Church St., Brownstown, PA on SATURDAY, JANUARY 2, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Harry L. Kaufhold officiating. Private interment at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorials may be sent to Water Street Rescue Mission, 205 S. Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603 in Susan's memory. Fred F.
